George Washington Oyler, son of George Oyler Sr., is remembered today for his
long legacy of service as an educator in Hamilton County, Ohio. Using funds from his father, he founded a small community school in Storrs Township in 1854. This school became the Twenty-First District School in 1870, and later named the Oyler School. The building was recently renovated, and was the subject of a documentary. It serves as a focal point for the local community today.
