Postcards from Mexico

Ancestry has a free weekend on many of its world databases (until Midnight 1 September). This collection of images is from the Mexico Historical Postcards database. The first image below shows the Cathedral in Hermosillo, Sonora. The back of the card is dated January-March 1941. This is a view my 2nd-great-grandmother Teresa Diaz would have seen before she moved to Tucson in 1922.

The postcard above shows the port of Guaymas, Sonora. The card was sent in May 1909. My third-great-grandfather Gabriel Vasquez likely arrived in Mexico at this port.
