Here is a research tip - if you have family who were in Southern Indiana around the Evansville area from the mid 1800s to the present, try searching the Browning Genealogy Database (http://browning.evcpl.lib.in.us/). This is a great resource and contains obituary records as compiled by Charles Browning of the Browning Funeral Home.
One can also access the Evansville Local History database, which contains articles from 1850-2012 from the former Evansville Press, Browning People Study, People in Evansville in World War II, and indexed titles from the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library.
The Browning database has been a huge help in researching my wife's family, and the family from my great-grandmother Blanche Lamon's lines.
