Above is a painting from the Prince Hotel Kyoto, taken during my stay last week while attending a conference. This was my first trip back since March 2019. Unlike the last visit when I saw Kobe, Tokyo and Kyoto, this time was primarily in Kyoto, except for a half-day excursion to nearby Nara, one of the earliest capitals of Japan, dating back to 700s CE.
