While on a stopover in Athens, a colleague set me up with a personal tour guide for the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. It was a really great experience. The photo above is the historic
Odeon of Herodes Atticus, which was originally an indoor theatre seating 5,000 people. The building was completed in 161 AD and restored in the 1950s. There are regular performances at the venue today.
