The photo above was taken by my grandfather, sometime in 1956, of my great-grandparents, my Dad and grandmother.
Alma Oyler Jones is on the left, with her husband
Edgar, my Dad in front, and
Blanche O'Brien Jones on the right. They must have been boarding a ferry that would take them across a river, while on a family vacation. I am not sure where this was taken. Other photos in the same set show Dad and Edgar around stalks of corn (see below) and Blanche and Alma setting up a picnic.
