Sunrise at Angkor

Photo by Patrick Jones. Angkor Wat, Cambodia. 23 Apr 2016.
The photo above was taken after sunrise from the back entrance to the World Heritage Site of Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia. I did a one-day visit over the weekend to Siem Reap while in Thailand for a UN meeting. My tuk-tuk driver took me to the back entrance to start, as this would help avoid the crowds. My first hour in the park had very few people and it made for a cool experience.

This is the first of many photos I have from the day at Angkor. The site is huge, and includes the ancient Khmer capital Angkor Thom, Bayon temple, and several other temples on the park grounds.
