Calendar shifts to September

As we turn the page on another month, we reflect back on the summer and new memories created. It's kind of crazy how time has flown by and we return to the day to day starting on Tuesday. The kids go back to school, I dive back into meetings and catching up on items missed while we were in Portugal and Spain.

Our trip covered four stops: Lisbon, the Algarve, Sevilla and Madrid. I had been to Lisbon and Madrid before, but this was the first time for the rest of the family. I'll have a more detailed photo recap of our journey in another post.

As we head into a new month, I decided it was time to replace the photo I have been using for the past 10 years as my headshot on Google and on my Ancestry account. My daughter caught a good photo of me at Sintra in Portugal with colorful tiles in the background.

Returning from Vacation

We're back from two weeks in Portugal and Spain. This was the longest family trip we've taken, and we had some great experiences across the trip. Two weeks is probably about as long as the family can take on the road, but we're glad we did it. I'll have more photos to share from the trip.
